Lana Del Rey has cancelled her Australian tour this week.
She was due to play in Melbourne on March 3, and even though the show that sold out in minutes her promoters cited "unprecedented international demand" as the reason for the tour being axed, with "more extensive" Australian dates to be announced shortly.
The New York Post however, is claiming that is not the reason at all, and following another 30 date US tour cut, the cancellation is really because her management has decided Del Rey is not ready to tour!
Listen to Lana Del Rey's new album here -- 'Born To Die'!An insider has recently been quoted saying that Del Rey's management "figure (the cancellation) allows time for her to clear her head, then go back to selling tickets."
Those who had tickets for the Melbourne Toff in Town show will have their tickets refunded.
LDR's album Born to Die hit No.1 in the UK this week and is expected to debut in the Australian Top 10 next week after strong sales on iTunes.
